What it is

One trip a month from September to May, mostly day hikes within an hour of school, plus one overnight in the autumn. The club owns tents, packs and enough boots to kit out a beginner, so cost is not the reason to skip it. Trips are graded easy, moderate and honest-about-it, and the easy ones are genuinely easy.
